Duijnborgh Certification BV® is our independent and impartial organization that is involved in certification activities. Certification by an independent party is seeking review of an object and / or process. This is done using a generally accepted and in advance available standard. The BS17799 (British Standard for Information Security) is such a generally recognized standard.

Duijnborgh Certification BV is expected accredition by the Accreditation Council (RvA) in 2010 as a certifying organization so on behalf of this accreditation body we can certify to the standard ISO / IEC 27001 and ISO 7510 (Dutch equivalent of the BS17799).

The RvA is the appropriate body at European level in the Netherlands decides whether a certification body meets the requirements applying to be made. A certification body shall operate in accordance with a certain quality, competent in the area in which such certification is made independent and impartial and that the certificate to its value can be distributed. With this label customers have even more certainty that they are dealing with an excellent quality party.

Duijnborgh Certification BV focuses on the certification against the BS17799. In the future this may be extended to other certification schemes, such as Trusted Third Party in respect of environmental licenses or certificates.
